Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant Education. As a contracted SLP, you will work within a supportive school district environment, providing essential speech and language therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds and age groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders, with the goal of improving student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and educational goals.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings, as per IEP requirements.
  • Document Student Progress: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, assessments, and interventions.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Contribute to the development of student goals and objectives, and participate in IEP meetings to ensure student progress.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence: Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or be eligible for a clinical fellowship year (CFY).
  • State Licensure: Possess state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Previous Experience: Have previous experience in a school setting, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
