As a Lead Automotive Technician, you will be the primary expert for mechanical repairs in our service center, entrusted with delivering high-quality service to our customers' vehicles, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

General Responsibilities:

As the Lead Automotive Technician, you will serve as the lead mechanic within the service center.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring quality service while delivering an excellent customer experience.

You will be trained and certified to perform all lubrication services, core tasks, and specific mechanical services such as brakes and tires through both internal and external training programs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Promoting teamwork to ensure timely and accurate customer care during all operating hours.

- Demonstrating exceptional customer service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback regarding customer vehicles.

- Maintaining a clean and presentable workstation within the service center.

- Performing complete disc or drum brake services, including replacing all braking components and conducting full brake flushes.

- Understanding the mechanics of the braking system and explaining the brake servicing process to customers.

- Diagnosing and addressing issues within the braking system.


- Diagnosing vital components and performing necessary repairs, including Engine Performance, Suspension/Steering, Electrical, Heating & AC, etc.

Utilizing our current computer system to provide estimates for parts and labor, you will work with programs and applications such as All DATA, AutoZone, O'Reilly, Advance Auto Parts, NAPA, etc.

Conducting road tests on vehicles (before and after service) to ensure all work meets our high standards.

Additional Duties May Include:

- Performing ancillary services such as lubrication, including Transmission and Radiator fluid exchanges.

- Conducting fuel services, such as Fuel Filter and Fuel System Cleaning.

- Executing tire rotations and gearbox services.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of automotive experience.

- 1-2 years of experience working on brake systems.

- Ability to provide training and supervision to apprentice technicians.

Education/Training Requirements:

- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in A-Brakes Certification.

- Preferred ASE certifications in Engine Performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning.

- Automotive technical or trade school degree is a plus.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
