About the Role:
We are looking for a highly qualified linguist with expertise in Tajik language and culture. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for a range of activities, including translation, interpretation, and transcription. You will work closely with our clients to provide high-quality language services and support their mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate reports and texts from electronic and hard-copy formats with accuracy and nuance
- Interpret accurately, with a focus on consecutive interpretation and simultaneous interpretation as needed
- Transcribe audio and internet materials with high accuracy and expression
- Prepare reports and other written materials with excellent English-language written communication skills
Requirements:
- BA/BS and/or equivalent formal military training and 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to conduct basic research on the Web
- Excellent English-language verbal communication skills to deliver informative briefings

Travel Requirements:
Travel OCONUS is a requirement on this program. You must be able to support the contract 24/7 when on travel.
