**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in the Ambulatory Care Center. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating physical therapy needs and implementing comprehensive, medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to assigned patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of physical therapy needs for assigned patients, reviewing medical charts and clarifying referral/treatment orders as needed.
- Implement treatment plans and protocols according to current professional and health system standards, establishing achievable and appropriate treatment goals with patients and families.
- Complete all required documentation for patient care and reimbursement, including daily treatment records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in clinical education of fieldwork students and other professional educational endeavors, teaching and supervising students in techniques, skills, and procedures.
- Meet certain levels of patient care productivity, as indicated by individual unit procedures and productivity reports.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- New York State Physical Therapy License or temporary permit.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- BLS certification (issued by the American Heart Association) or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification.
