Pharmacist - District Support

At CVS Health, we are committed to delivering enhanced human-centric healthcare for a rapidly changing world. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and dispensing of medications, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations, and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including DEA and state pharmacy board requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve pharmacy operations, including inventory management and customer service.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues related to medications and pharmacy services.
- Personnel Management: Supervise and develop pharmacy technicians and support staff, and provide guidance on pharmacy operations and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
- Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, including managing expenses and optimizing revenue streams.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential losses, including theft and inventory discrepancies.
- Workflow Management: Optimize pharmacy workflow, including streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
- Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA).
- Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
