Job Summary:

The Lead CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and operating CNC machine centers, performing manual data input, programming, inspecting parts, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operation of CNC vertical machining centers
  • MDI programming and inspection using manual gauges and instruments
  • Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
  • Monitoring and inspecting parts throughout the machining process
  • Observing company quality and safety procedures
  • Communicating and collaborating with team members
  • Participating in Lean manufacturing events

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of experience in a Lead role
  • Associate degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of experience
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Great communication skills

Work Schedule:

5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (OT as needed 3:30 p.m.)
