Primary Care Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team at Mercy Clinic Gerald. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for visits with providers by completing advanced standard room processes, including vital sign collection, medication reconciliation, and documentation in Epic.
- Assist with in-office testing, such as drawing blood, completing mental status exams, and administering vaccines and injections within scope of practice.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate delivery of care plans.
- Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, certification as a Medical Assistant (RMA, CCMA, CMA), and BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 for continuing education
