Deputy Sheriff

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Sheriff to join our team in Fairfield County, OH. As a Deputy Sheriff, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, enforcing laws and regulations, and providing public safety services to our community.

• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce laws and regulations.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed.
• Investigate crimes and gather evidence to support prosecutions.
• Make arrests and transport prisoners to detention facilities.
• Provide public safety education and awareness programs to the community.

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have an O.P.O.T.A. certification for law enforcement.

Deputy Sheriffs work in a variety of settings, including patrol cars, offices, and detention facilities. They may be exposed to hazardous conditions, including physical danger, and may be required to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
