About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Wayfair. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, driving sales, and contributing to the success of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide authentic and friendly customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive experience in our store.
  • Sales: Drive sales by asking questions to understand customer needs, guiding them through their shopping experience, and providing product options that meet their requirements.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Store Operations: Assist with processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, substitutions, and general upkeep of the store.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in a design-related environment.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills, with a passion for great customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to learn necessary software.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
