RN Neuro Trauma Nurse

The Swedish Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled RN Neuro Trauma Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse in our Neuro Trauma department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice and the hospital's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take proactive steps to prevent them.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress, report changes or concerns to the healthcare team, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in neuro trauma care.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
- Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
- Demonstrates good organizational skills, provides safe and appropriate patient care, and displays appropriate judgment and problem-solving skills.
