Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET CT Technologist to join our team at Adventist HealthCare. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality nuclear medicine images and ensuring the safe administration of radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Manager with planning and organizing imaging procedures
  • Produce high-quality nuclear medicine images consistently and accomplish computer processing with image enhancement
  • Interact with radiologists to ensure proper protocol for complicated or unusual procedures
  • Perform daily QA checks as required by state and federal regulations
  • Maintain records to comply with NRC and state regulations
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to USP 825
  • Practice Radiation Safety on a daily basis
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
  • Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the A.R.R.T./NMTCB
  • Active Maryland license required
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • One year of current experience within your specialty in a hospital environment
  • Proficient in IV access
