TRS Technician

A highly skilled TRS Technician is required to join our team at Parker Drilling. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating casing running equipment at various rig/field sites.

• Operate and maintain casing running tools, power tongs, elevators, power slips, control panels, and hydraulic power units.
• Work with hand tools and operate hydraulically activated equipment.
• Rig up, run, and rig down various components on a drilling rig.
• Communicate effectively with rig personnel, customers, and Parker Drilling staff.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to Parker Drilling's Life Saving Rules and QHSSE policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Qualifications in Mechanical or Electronic Applications or relevant experience in rig operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical/electronic systems.
• 3-4 years of experience with mechanical, electronic, hydraulic equipment or similar experience in rig operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of environments, including drilling rigs, workshops, and offices. The role will involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in adverse weather conditions.
