As a Swim Instructor at our Y, you will be part of an energetic and dynamic team that is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their goals. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

Your Role

We are seeking a qualified Swim Instructor to provide direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for instructing swimming lessons, preparing lesson plans according to YMCA standards, and building effective relationships with parents and students.

Requirements

  • At minimum, some high school level education (over 16+ years of age)
  • CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid certification, and Emergency Oxygen
  • Current YMCA Swim Instructor certification or training provided
