Job Title: Staff Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Skagit Regional Health. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Acute Care department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current Washington State RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) PALS or PEARS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of nursing practice and emergency nursing.
