Job Title: Junior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Estimator to join our team at Ace Electric, Inc. As a Junior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Senior Estimator in all aspects of electrical estimating, including analyzing blueprints, writing proposals, and preparing cost and expenditure statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the performance of all aspects of electrical estimating, including composing BOMs, performing takeoffs, and submitting RFIs.
  • Coordinate and streamline the bid process on each individual project.
  • Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
  • Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction supervisors to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.
  • Post-Secondary Certificate Preferred.
  • Construction Management College Degree or Electrical Engineering Degree or in the process of obtaining such Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years electrical experience preferred in industrial or commercial construction.
