Job Summary:
Penda Aiken, Inc is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a LPN, you will be responsible for administering medications, including insulin, and providing respiratory treatments. Your expertise in tracheotomy care and suctioning will be invaluable in ensuring the well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, including insulin, as prescribed by a physician.
- Provide respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy and suctioning.
- Assist with tracheotomy care, including cleaning and maintaining the tracheostomy site.
- Document patient information, including medication administration and treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
