Role Overview:
The Manager of Care Management Program Initiatives is tasked with overseeing the quality of strategic and operational processes within the department. This role involves leading teams to foster continuous improvements and technological advancements. The position is focused on managing the department's Program Team and is non-clinical in nature. Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing complex projects, engaging key stakeholders, developing timelines, and ensuring implementation upon approval.
2. Identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities aligned with departmental objectives.
3. Championing technology initiatives and operational programs to enhance efficiency in member coordination.
4. Planning and implementing systems and procedures to maximize operational efficiency and achieve strategic goals.
5. Overseeing the development of strategic programs, including budget management and financial analysis.
6. Driving change management initiatives across teams to facilitate effective process and system enhancements.
7. Leading the development and implementation of cross-functional policies and procedures.
8. Serving as a departmental leader to prioritize cross-departmental requests.
9. Advising senior leadership on opportunities for program and process efficiency.
10. Collaborating closely with senior leadership to ensure robust core operations and innovation.
Team Management:
This role includes managing team members to ensure timely project completion within scope and budget. Responsibilities include ensuring that all Program Managers maintain clear project schedules, manage resources effectively, and support centralized document repositories.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or a related field. Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years in program and business process improvement within a healthcare environment, including at least 4 years in a supervisory or management role. Experience with regulatory agencies and facilitating complex decision-making among executive stakeholders is essential.
Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, capacity to manage multiple projects, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Proven success in managing large-scale projects and fostering strong team collaboration is required.
Licenses/Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
