Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Correctional Facility

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical services to incarcerated patients in a correctional facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in corrections and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine and emergency medical care for inmates, including chronic care clinics and emergency treatment on-site.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures for medical care, including documentation in SOAP format and adherence to formulary regimens.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with accepted practices for incarcerated individuals.
- A graduate of an accredited school of nursing and an advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Prior medical/surgical and/or emergency/trauma experience and corrections experience is preferred.
- Must have the patience and tact to deal with the inmate patient population and ability to work effectively in the corrections environment.
