Job Summary and Qualifications
The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical professionals, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN acts as an advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities in this role include:
Assessing patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
Executing procedures or other functions as directed by the medical provider.
Documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
Administering prescribed medications and monitoring patient responses.
Maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications required:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Registered Nurse licensure.
Bachelor's Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree.
