About the Role

Cleveland Clinic Florida Coral Springs is seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and registered nurses in preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring quality patient care.
  • Perform a variety of functions, including checking supplies and equipment, setting up sterile tables, and passing instruments to the surgeon and assistant during the procedure.
  • Prepare sterile dressing and clean instruments for terminal sterilization.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure operational efficiency and provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Two years of experience in a multi-disciplined OR in an acute care hospital setting.
