Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Therapeutic Recreation Adjunct Instructor to join our team at Winston-Salem State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching core Therapeutic Recreation courses to undergraduate students, managing classes in face-to-face and online environments, and collaborating with department faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Therapeutic Recreation courses to undergraduate students
  • Manage classes in face-to-face and online environments
  • Collaborate with department faculty on program assessment and other initiatives
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related discipline
  • Current recreation therapy license in the state of North Carolina
  • Teaching experience at the college level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of local resources for engaging students in the community for practicum component
  • Understanding of the practice of recreation therapy in NC
