Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Idaho Home Health & Hospice. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to treating speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patient care needs to determine the most effective treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement treatment plans to improve and enhance patient well-being, in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Interventions and Progress Evaluation: Perform interventions aimed at improving patient communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments, and evaluate patient progress.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Must be currently licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of Idaho.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification.
  • Transportation: Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
