Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate Computed Tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast media.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images accordingly.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records.
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
Requirements
  • Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT).
  • Most states require licensure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
