Job Overview

Position Available: Grinder

Our client is seeking a dedicated individual for a grinding position that has the potential to evolve into a permanent role with enhanced compensation and benefits following a successful probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, with no weekend obligations. The work environment is climate-controlled, and steel-toed footwear is not necessary.
  • Grinding Responsibilities: Assist the grinding department by washing and inspecting saw blades in preparation for grinding. Conduct outgoing inspections and manage packing duties. Gradually acquire additional grinding responsibilities.
  • 5S/6S Practices: Engage in daily activities to maintain cleanliness and organization within the grinding area.
  • Inventory Participation: Take part in quarterly inventory counts.
  • Cross-Training Opportunities: Gain exposure to the shipping operations of the warehouse to provide support during colleagues' absences.

Experience: Previous experience is advantageous but not mandatory. We are committed to training the right candidate.
