About the Job

As a Marketing Research Analyst, you'll be responsible for leveraging data from various tools to develop insights that shape copy and priorities in the editorial calendar. You'll also conduct cross-tab analysis and research to identify trends, opportunities, and insights to visualize and use in content.

In addition to these responsibilities, you'll design and create surveys to gather audience insights, using the data to inform and improve content strategies. You'll also develop visuals and performance reports to present findings and articulate their impact on content initiatives.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in data analytics and/or research, with a strong focus on editorial content, storytelling, and SEO.
  • Proven track record of using data to develop content insights and improve content performance.
  • Experience in conducting cross-tab analysis and creating surveys to gather and leverage audience insights.
  • Proficient in Looker, GA4, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and other content performance tools.
  • Familiarity with pivot tables and the ability to visualize data and performance insights.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and their application in content strategy.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on maintaining high-quality content standards.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive range of benefits, including health, life, disability, and retirement plans, and paid time off for mental health, community service, vacation, sick, and safe leave, and holidays.
