Staff Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at MultiCare Health System. As a Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various acute care departments, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for organizing patient care, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality nursing care using the nursing process.
Responsibilities:- Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
- Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
- Washington State Registered Nurse license (RN).
- Refer to CPR and ALS policy grid for requirements.
- Minimum (2) years of experience.
- Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state.
