Job Title: CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Maximum Security Products Corp. in Waterford, NY.

Job Summary:

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machining, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts and components
  • Load and unload raw materials and completed parts
  • Perform inspections and quality control checks
  • Follow instructions and procedures for tooling and fixtures
  • Use measurement tools and other equipment as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Keep a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of machining experience preferred
  • Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, and basic math
  • Basic understanding of G&M programming codes
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Work Environment:

The CNC Machinist will work in a machine shop environment, which may require the use of industrial hearing protection and other personal protective equipment.

Physical Demands:
  • Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity
  • Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands
  • Occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying
