We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Telehealth Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care by monitoring and interpreting telemetry data, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic bedside care to patients, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays to inform patient care decisions.
- Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team to ensure prompt intervention.
- Initiate corrective action when telemetry data indicates adverse symptomatology, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care, with a focus on telemetry nursing.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, with occasional bending, leaning, and stooping.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of patients.
- Excellent visual acuity, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
