Competitive Salary: $2,537.00/week
Standard shift: Nights
As a Travel Nurse RN within the Emergency Department, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Proactively identifying potential patient admissions and discharge needs.
- Collaborating with Bed Center staff to address patient status discrepancies.
- Engaging in discussions with ED and Admitting Physicians to resolve status issues.
- Coordinating discharges and facilitating transfers to external facilities.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Interqual Level of Care criteria.
- Screening all ED patients for potential admissions and necessary interventions.
- Developing and managing care plans for patients frequently utilizing ED services.
- Initiating discharge planning for admitted patients.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant nursing role.
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
Certifications and Licenses: BLS certification is mandatory.
