Denny's Service Team Members play a vital role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of our restaurants, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Service Team Member.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the entire interior and exterior of the restaurant, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Buss tables and wash dishes, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Perform various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, scrubbing, and cleaning curbs, building pads, and dumpster areas.
  • Rack, wash, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to the highest standards.
  • Clean and organize the back and front of the house, including sweeping and vacuuming floors, removing trash, and cleaning restrooms and parking lots.
  • Assist with deep cleaning duties, such as scrubbing walls, cleaning walk-in coolers and freezers, and scrubbing sidewalks and dumpster areas.
  • Store and rotate stock to ensure timely customer service.
  • Adhere to Denny's Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist other service personnel as needed.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure dining room tables are cleaned and sanitized, and that pots, pans, dishes, glassware, ice, and utensils are maintained in adequate supply throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked front and back of the house at all times to ensure timely customer service.
  • Ensure the restaurant exterior is clean, neat, and organized.

Requirements

  • The ability to lift 30lbs is required.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential.
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
  • The ability to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, and lift is necessary.
  • Sufficient mobility to move and/or operate within the work area.
  • Ability to work inside and outside.
  • Attention to detail to ensure health requirements for cleanliness are met.
  • Compliance with state, county, or municipal regulations pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role.

Estimated Salary Range

$12-$15 per hour, based on experience and location.
