Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Adult Education Professional to join our team at Dutchess BOCES. As a Home Health Aide Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching adult students the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the field of home health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans using required curriculum to teach adult HHA students
  • Oversee clinical and laboratory experiences for students
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for certifying student success on required skills
  • Track student attendance and hours, test proctoring, and collaboration with other teachers and staff
Requirements
  • Current NYS RN License
  • NYS Teacher Certification in Adult Education or eligibility for certification
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (Master's degree preferred)
  • Strong clinical skills with 3-5 years' experience in the nursing field
  • At least one year of experience in home health care services, overseeing and training Home Health Care Aides
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
