Cecelia Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our innovative virtual specialty medical practice. As a Telehealth Nutrition Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education to patients with cardiometabolic health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized nutrition counseling and education to patients via phone, video, chat, text, and email.
- Collaborate with team physicians and external providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Engage in remote patient monitoring for various devices, such as scales, blood glucose meters, and blood pressure monitors.
- Support patients with medication management and dosing of anti-obesity medications within established protocols.
- Present online webinars as needed to educate patients and healthcare professionals on nutrition and weight management topics.
- Consistently meet program metrics while maintaining high-quality care standards.
Requirements and Experience
- Must be a Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Certification from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) is strongly preferred.
- Experience with anti-obesity medications and motivational interviewing techniques is preferred.
- Must have a private home office with high-speed internet for secure patient conversations.
- Comfortable with advanced technology, including electronic medical records and various digital tools.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt communication techniques to meet the needs of a diverse patient population.
- Flexible schedule with a commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Cannot hold full-time employment elsewhere.
- Must live in the United States.
