About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance
  • Complete maintenance and repairs, records as required
  • Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed to complete repair, and order necessary materials and supplies
  • Use CMMS to manage work orders and track completion
  • Lead troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC/R
  • Inspect new installation for compliance with building codes and safety laws
  • Inspect building systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client
  • Oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors
  • Maintain the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements
  • Maintain grounds of facility or property, performing tasks such as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, or snow removal
  • Perform furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or trade school training
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks
  • Possess necessary skills to functionally operate a "full size" van/truck
  • Licensure as required by Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
  • Universal CFC certification required
  • Excellent social skills, including oral and written communications
  • Uses computer and/or PDA for work order system, email, and training
