Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of students' occupational therapy needs and develop individualized therapy plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote their growth and development.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Progress Tracking and Documentation: Accurately track and document student progress, using data to inform therapy plans and make data-driven decisions.
  • IEP Meetings and Goal-Setting: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting, ensuring that students' needs are met and their progress is monitored.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapist license in California.
  • Certification: NBCOT certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience working with school-aged children, with a strong understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
