Job Title: ETL Developer - Data Ingestion SpecialistJob Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to join our team at eTek IT Services, Inc. as a Data Ingestion Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing ETL pipelines in and out of our data warehouse using a combination of Python and Snowflake's Snow SQL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflake's Snow SQL
  • Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores methods and approaches, including star and snowflake dimensional modeling
  • Experience in designing and deploying virtual warehouse, schema, views, zero-copy clone in Snowflake cloud data warehouse
  • Work with data analysts in mapping documents and design/build IBM DataStage jobs to requirements
  • Participate in peer design reviews and provide recommendations
  • Ensure runbooks are fully up-to-date and consistently improving efficiency derived from automation
  • Hands-on experience to improve operational stability via automation, such as auto-healing where possible, and raise design changes SMEs and/or architects, as well as opportunities to application/service managers
Requirements:
  • Expertise in design/development in Snowflake (Azure or AWS would be preferred)
  • Experience in ETL tools like SnowSQL from design/development and implementing data ingestion and processing pipelines
  • Python/Airflow
  • Data Analysis
  • Good problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Azure and Azure Databricks would be nice to have
Work Environment:

Work some off-hours as demanded by projects, operations, and need of the on-shore team and stakeholders, such as release, testing, and/or critical bug resolutions.
