About the Role:
- Defend employers in employment litigation cases, including claims related to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related matters.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production.
- Provide legal counsel to clients, helping them navigate complex employment law issues while minimizing liability.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations as necessary.
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategies.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the California State Bar.
- 1-3 years of experience in employment defense litigation, ideally within a law firm environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $190,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
