Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area, known for its innovative cardiovascular program and commitment to excellence in patient care. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist - Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

This role involves preparing equipment and providing patient care in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular program. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and training, as well as a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares equipment before and during procedures
  • Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care
  • Maintains a sterile environment
  • Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participates in orientation of new staff
  • Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
  • Maintains strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

  • Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
  • Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
  • Hold an American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration or RCIS certification
  • Have basic life support (BLS) training, ACLS training within 6 months of hire
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
