Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Summit Medical Staffing Nursing. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This is a 13-week contract position, working 40 hours per week, with a shift schedule of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for scans, including positioning and instructing on breathing techniques
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Document patient information and scan results
Requirements:
  • Current MRI Technologist certification
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
