About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Journeyman to join our team at Brown & Root Industrial Services. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assembling and erecting scaffolding systems for various industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble scaffold components, including handrails, mid rails, braces, and planks, to ensure safe and stable structures.
  • Brace forms in place using timbers, tie rods, and anchor bolts for concrete piers, footings, and walls.
  • Secure scaffolding to permanent structures by tying and ensuring stability.
  • Erect scaffolding for buildings and other structures, installing ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways as needed.
  • Set and brace anchor bolts to ensure secure anchoring.
  • Inspect base surfaces for obstructions and ensure safe working conditions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Scaffold Journeyman or related construction role.
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
