Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary:
Milwaukee Tool is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our Business Analytics team in Milwaukee, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced demand planning tools, leveraging internal and external data to improve forecast models, and automating processes to enhance the overall efficiency and accuracy of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain advanced demand planning tools to enable the demand planning team to create accurate forecasts over a rolling 24-month horizon.
2. Perform ongoing analysis and monitoring of the performance of these tools, identifying significant variances, taking corrective actions, and documenting key assumptions.
3. Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain planning, and other stakeholders to ensure the tools meet their needs and achieve a consensus demand plan.

Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in planning/forecasting, data science, or a combination thereof.
Demonstrated proficiency in statistical modeling, forecasting methods, and machine learning algorithms.
Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in training and deploying models into production.
Familiarity with Spark and parallel cloud computation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with data intelligence solutions including reports, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Experience in manufacturing or similar industries is a plus.
Understanding of DevOps for CI/CD is a plus.
