Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging department.

Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes. This includes performing a variety of imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.
  • Position patients correctly for imaging procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiologic procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • Current CPR/AED certification required.
  • One year of experience as a staff technologist preferred.
