This is a 12-week travel assignment with Magnet Medical. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and be able to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality care.

Job Description

We are looking for a Physical Therapist who can work effectively in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will have strong assessment and evaluation skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical abilities, range of motion, strength, coordination, and overall mobility.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient goals, condition, and progress.
  • Provide various physical therapy interventions, including strengthening exercises, range of motion exercises, balance training, manual therapy, and modalities.
  • Educate patients on proper posture, movement techniques, and body mechanics to prevent future injury.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams. They will need to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, document evaluations, treatments, progress, and changes in the patient's condition.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited program.
  • Licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina.
  • Excellent clinical skills and experience working in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
