As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents in our acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing, with a focus on providing compassionate and individualized care to patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, and will be responsible for administering medications, conducting vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Administer medications and conduct vital signs as needed
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current status as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Alabama
  • One (1) year of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
  • LPN must have credentials to direct physical management of the patient and have current CPR certification
