Lumber Processing Machine Technician

We are on the lookout for candidates to fill the role of Machine Operator on the first shift, operating from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. The compensation for these temporary-to-permanent positions is set at $18.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities as a Machine Operator:

• Efficiently manage lumber handling
• Operate various machinery
• Perform routine inspections of lumber and finished products
• Maintain a tidy work environment for yourself and your colleagues
• Monitor machinery and resolve any operational issues
• Ensure accurate unit quantities are produced

Qualifications for the Machine Operator Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Capability to read and interpret a tape measure
• Aptitude for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not mandatory
