We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst II to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a Data Analyst II, you will play a critical role in supporting our quality improvement initiatives by analyzing and interpreting complex data sets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain databases and reports using software tools including MS Access, MS Excel, and SQL.
  • Ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of our databases, data, and reports.
  • Develop and implement database procedures to collect and track data pertinent to our quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct complex and detailed analysis of and extensive research on data and reporting results.
  • Collaborate effectively with others, including members of the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) Council, to ensure opportunities for collection and analysis of data are maximized.
Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel, including how to write formulas.
  • Ability to gather, review, and analyze data for trends.
  • Ability to distill large collections of data into an easily readable format that can be tracked and trended.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
