Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and empathetic non-medical caregiver for immediate placement. The ideal candidate will be available for the following schedule:

  • Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Client's Care Requirements: The client requires assistance due to chronic frailty, fall risk, and mobility/vision impairment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with cooking and light housekeeping tasks
  • Managing laundry and changing bed linens
  • Conducting grocery shopping
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Facilitating range of motion exercises
  • Offering assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Driving the client to appointments and running errands
  • Supporting walking and transfer needs
  • Reminding the client about medication schedules
  • Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Helping with ambulation
  • Assisting with changing depends
  • Providing transportation; a valid driver's license is required as the client has a van equipped with a ramp
  • Experience with Hoyer Lift is necessary, as the client utilizes a ceiling lift

Caregiver Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of caregiving experience
  • Completion of a 2 Step TB Test
  • Clear criminal background checks
  • Child clearances, if applicable
