Responsibilities:
Job Summary


This position entails monitoring cardiac rhythms from a centralized observation station, with the responsibility of identifying, documenting, and reporting any potentially hazardous rhythm alterations and arrhythmias, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

The role is primarily conducted within a centralized monitoring environment, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The incumbent will also engage in general receptionist and clerical duties that support the primary responsibilities of the role.

Qualifications:
Education/Work Experience Requirements


Completion of an accredited monitor technician program is required, or current enrollment in an accredited nursing program, or at least one year of relevant experience as a monitor technician.

Additionally, completion of a fundamental dysrhythmia interpretation course is mandatory within six months of commencing the position.
