Job Title: Nursing Assistant Clinical Decision Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our Clinical Decision Unit team at Pennsylvania Medicine. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team in delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
  • Assist with vital sign measurements, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Help with patient transportation and mobility, ensuring safe and efficient movement within the unit.
  • Participate in hourly patient rounds to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Document patient care and vital signs accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing assistant role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
