Weis Markets is seeking a highly skilled Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for analyzing energy use reports, conducting surveys, and implementing energy-saving initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint.

• Energy Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze energy use reports to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to reduce energy consumption.
  • Conduct regular surveys of store conditions and equipment to identify opportunities for energy efficiency.
• Energy-Saving Initiatives
  • Develop and implement energy-saving projects to reduce energy consumption and costs.
  • Collaborate with store management to ensure successful implementation of energy-saving initiatives.
• Training and Education
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote energy efficiency and sustainability practices among store employees.
  • Provide guidance and support to store employees on energy-saving best practices.
• Communication and Collaboration
  • Communicate energy-saving initiatives and progress to store management and employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company sustainability goals.

• Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, engineering, or business.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, or a related field.
• Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of energy management tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
