Overview


The Alternative Investment Consultant will collaborate with The Ladders' Investment, National Accounts, and Intermediary Sales teams to provide insights into Alternative offerings, aiming to promote and educate on The Ladders' suite of Alternative products.

This position entails conducting individual and group presentations, facilitating conference calls, and preparing strategic materials and comprehensive reports.

The Alternative Investment Consultant will closely partner with marketing and sales professionals to enhance their effectiveness in conveying alternative strategies and products to clients and prospects.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with a profound understanding of equity, derivative, and fixed income markets, enabling effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities



Acquire an in-depth knowledge of The Ladders' Alternative products and strategies.

Act as the primary internal and client-facing liaison for the illiquid alternatives platform.

Provide updates to clients, prospects, consultants, and intermediaries regarding alternative products, including current offerings and new developments.

Offer support and guidance to The Ladders' National Field Force on the suite of Alternative Investment solutions to enhance utilization and education, meeting client needs and objectives.

Travel frequently to various locations for client meetings and to foster new business opportunities.

Facilitate and promote new business initiatives alongside The Ladders' sales team.

Prepare presentations, reports, market updates, and other essential deliverables.

Shape product marketing strategies, ensuring consistency and refinement through market demand analysis, competitor offerings, and performance evaluations.

Ensure that all materials and communications directed to clients maintain high quality and consistency.

Research and resolve client inquiries effectively.

Develop and sustain positive working relationships across all areas of The Ladders to foster goodwill and create cross-product opportunities.Qualifications



Minimum of 10 years of experience in capital markets, with at least 5 years in alternative investments.

Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Strong organizational abilities and capacity to prioritize multiple projects.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or finance (CFA, CAIA, or MBA preferred).

Possession of Series 7, 63, 24, 65, or 66 licenses (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).Compensation Overview

The salary range for this position is $225,000-$265,000.

This range reflects our good faith belief regarding the compensation for this role at the time of posting.

Compensation may vary based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and additional benefits for eligible employees.

Compensation is considered earned, vested, and determinable only when it is due.

The amount and availability of any bonus or commission are at the Company's discretion and may be adjusted as necessary.
